Today I...
  • fed children
  • changed diapers
  • played with children
  • got exasperated with children
  • made crafts and played computer games with my older son
  • collapsed upon Mr. C's arrival...

Tomorrow I will...

  • prepare end of the fiscal year paperwork
  • give a guest lecture at a community college
  • polish off a couple of grant proposals
  • organize some research in preparation of writing on Wednesday and Thursday
  • all of the above by 4pm, after which I will be back to today's list again...

My life is glued together by being an organizational routine freak.

My life is glued together with paper glue when it could do with something a bit more permanent...

Must do application forms by end of the day.

I downloaded loads on iTunes without it crashing!

I finished a painted sketch thing in my sketchbook.

I didn't leave the house once!

You don't want things to be too permanent. If things go a little crooked, you want to be able to lift up the edges and straighten things out.

I didn't leave the house either (well, I went out to scoop up some dirt from the garden to fill some pots to plant squash seeds...does this count?)

I hesitate to be too oragnized... I find I spend too much time organizing myself, and not enough doing what needs to get done.

Occasionally though, I resort to a five point list of things that need to be done immediately, just so I can prioritize.

Good luck with the lecture. I'm sure you'll kick butt.

    Peace & Hugs,

Can I borrow some of that glue?! I don't have that! I miss routine! My life has become so deroutinized that I frequently don't know what day it is at all!

OMG Cathy, I think I prefer your today list, than tomorrow's !! Good luck on getting through that list tomorrow. Take care, Meow

OOhhh, i can so relate. If my life wasn't so orgaised it would fall to pieces!
Best wishes for your grant proposals :o)

I like routines, too... maybe that's why I like to do what I do. But also because of these routines, I need the break as much as I do.

My life is just utter chaos at all time. I will try to plan things but when my phone rings it usually means my plans will change according to what needs to be done for my parents.

So if it is held together by something I am going to pick something yummy like Tootsie Rolls.lol.

    Goodmorning Cathy,

I'm a little late for your yesterday but " today" is your tomorrow..Goodluck, hope it won't be to overwhelming. Have a great day. Sunny and plus 10 today :)

For every minute of organization I do, I get two minutes worth of work out of it; really, it's true.

Actually, it isn't taxes (ours are due in the end of April), but work related financial stuff.

Chocolate sometimes glues me together. When I give it to my son, it unglues him, though.

Maybe I can patent it; for you, the first batch is free :)

Actually, I am preferring today, but just for today because I am in need of some time by myself and some fresh air; but by Friday I'll be craving time with the family again. All about balance...

    Thank you, sweetie :)

What do you do?...I'll have to read your archives some time.

Take care. It must be very difficult for you right now with your mom not well. xo

GOod morning mon ami. Same weather here :)

I had one of those magnetic board things in grade school. Every morning some kid would randomly be chosen to make it up to reflect the weather of the day.

Oh, and regarding my comment on the last post, I'm sure I mentioned the McDOnald's birthday party on either your's or Chloe's blog, more likely Chloe's if you don't remember it.

Can I have your email address? I'll explain it to you that way. ^_^

As ever, you cope admirably. I sometimes completely fail to feed and clothe myself.

You're amazing. Could you please come over and organize my life?

That's what I call a contrast! It can't be easy jugling both sides of your-self.
My life will get unglued sooner or later...
