Spring is springing...

I could actually venture outside without a coat or sweater on and take a look at what was popping up in the garden. I am going to go to the garden centre and get some organic fertilizer and help give things a boost. The weather is supposed to be the same tomorrow so I hope to be able to do a wee bit of gardening tomorrow (as a writing break, that is :). Today is the first day that really feels like spring and the temperature is 14 degrees C. I am taking my son for a haircut later and then having dinner out with the boys. The only bad thing about the day is the fact that I have to go to the dentist tonight. Ugh. Airplanes and dentists; I don't know which I hate worse.

   I love the photos of your little spot on the globe. They always remind me of our family trips to Cape Elizabeth in Maine.
   
   The dentist may suck, but at least it gives you oppurtunities to get outside. ^_^

   I did yard work yesterday, but the collector wont be coming until mid April. What am I suppose to do with all that tree and leaf waste?

   Our family would spend vacations in Maine quite frequently, but I have mever heard of Cape Elizabeth before; must look it up! I must have missed that comment somehow; so sorry...e-mail on the way shortly.

   My dentist works a few evenings a week; she actually used to be my neighbour and it is kind of odd having a friend be your dentist, but at least she knows that I hate her ;)(joking, I mean hate her job)

   When you start to prepare your soil for gardening you should add some bags of manure (any kind), peat moss (if your soil is very compact), and bone meal and blood meal. I think I feel a gardening post coming on....
