What would it be?
Nothing lofty allowed, like world peace or the end of AIDS and wars and such. These are perennial wishes. What would you wish for yourself?

I wish that my children are always safe and happy, kind and considerate. That they grow up to be people that I am proud of, and that are proud to have me for their mother. This is more than a wish; it is a job that may lead to a wish-come-true. But my God, it's a hard one.

    Ok, but some of that is a huge wish. The easy part of that is for your children to grow to be people that you are proud of - you can influence that to some degree. But to wish them to be always safe and happy - wow, that's a tall order.

    But a great wish and one I cannot but echo.

    Right now I'm wishing for a little guy to make it out of an incubator and into his mother's arms... the beginning of his life has been so hard, we'll worry about the rest of his life a little later.
