Have sheep, will travel...

Sunday, August 13, 2006

You never know what combinations of toys the babe will come up with; transport trailor taking sheep for shearing (not NOT to the slaughterhouse, Mr. C).

Mr. C and our son slept outside last night in the tent in the backyard. I had the evening to myself since the babe went to bed by 7:30 pm. I ended up working until midnight (on a Saturday night!)...but accomplished a lot and it felt good to get so much done.

Today was my favourite sort of Sunday...Starbucks, bookshops and puttering, plus learning some fun new things on the computer. I have gotten into making slideshows with my photos, and am loving it. I have too many hobbies, too many fun things to do...why do we humans have to sleep?...

I apologize for not getting your message sooner, my blog address is different than my personal one. PLEASE, absolutely feel free to take it from my site. I would also LOVE to see what you may do with it. Having you use it for your book would be a great honor, my goodness!

    It would be worth LOTS!!

They say sleeping keeps insanity away, but I have seen little evidence of that.

You ahd a very productive Saturday night followed by a restful Sunday. Sounds great.

I spent Sunday watching A Scanner Darkly an odd but entertaining movie (though I figured out two plot twists before the audience was shown), and hanging out at "the Taste of Calgary" a little get together of restaraunts around town, showing off their abilities.

I had a bison rib, jerk chicken, a New York Steak strip, ginger beer, and a pomegranate slushie.... I could have spent so much more time and money there, but I didn't. Entire day's cost: $20.

I have no idea what puttering is but I'm sure it's fun.

I totally agree about the sleeping.

Why can't we trade it for blogging ?

His Holiness likes a red transport tractor with either a pig or cow or duck in two ... or sometimes his ABC bus.

You should try NOT sleeping like me. It's okay until you start seeing things..

    sleep is so annoying -
    it interferes with everything.

Sounds you had a great Sunday, indeed!

And thank you for your kind words about my photos! You are very welcome at my house!

I know just what you mean! Too much fun to be had and too little time for having it..

Our Sunday was terrific & strange - all our kids went to visit different friends, and hubby and I cleaned the whole house and sorted through the kids' entire wardrobe - work we thought we'd have to do every night the entire autumn.. (I know, not all that interesting, but amazingly efficient - and it gives me nights like tonight "off"!)

That idea that every human being needs at least 8 hrs. of sleep is a total myth. We'd probably be fine on 4 or 6. ^_^

    Hello friends...
Unfortunately, today was more stressful than yesterday.
But what can one expect from a Monday?...

    Great pic.
And I soo agree ... sometimes sleeping is just a waste of time. Just thinking what I can do in those 6 hours really frustrates me sometimes. However, I do love to sleep. Oh well.
    Take care, Meow
