We had a go at jigging for mackerel (no luck)
and such a beautiful day for that, too.enjoy the weekend, hope you ahve good weather today. we have a nice, sunny day here in fredericton, but the powers that be are calling for rain later on. meh, that is ok. gotta work and the lawn could use a good watering anyway. have a good one. poet
Your son has a future there, it seems :) It looks wonderful! And so fresh. We're having a heat wave and lots of forest fires, so it's not looking great here :(
Looks gorgeous! The only "sailling" we've done recently was with the giant ferry boat to Denmark, not quite the same feeling...
"Ay,Ay, Captain"
Your lad looks right at home behind the wheel. A future life at sea maybe ?
Wow, what a fabulous day. So glad you were able to enjoy it so with your family.
I continue to be amazed at the diversity and wealth of experience acvailable where you are...
Looks like a perfect sort of day. The photos are gorgeous. Hope the camping went well.
Take care, Meow
What great photos and how cool that your son got to drive the boat!
He must have been so thrilled! :)
The pics make me want to go to the ocean.

It was loads of fun; one of our best days this summer (thus far!)

I once took a ferry from a German island to the southern tip of Denmark; Rodby Haven (from Fehmarn).
Heidi;
Not one bit. and with my son at the helm, there was some rocking going on! There were people from Toronto on board, and they had taken so much gravol that they were zombies for the entire trip!
Sophie;
Have you had the chance to go boating this year? It is so refreshing and relaxing...I hope you get the chance.
Connie;
The weather really co-operated and our companions couldn't have been better.
Ben;
I'd be ok with that!
Eric;
The water is really really deep in these parts, fortunately...

I think there is beauty and diversity of life and experiences wherever we are; if I were a tourist where you live, I would be amazed at the things that you take for granted, and vice versa...Having said that, I feel very fortunate to live here, because it is beautiful.
Neo;
Hello! I hope you are well. xo
Skyeblue;
I hope you had a great one as well.
