Monday with Cathy

Monday, April 10, 2006

I went to see Tuesdays with Morrie last night, which was wonderful and exceeded all expectations. The actor who played Morrie was phenomenal and it turned out that I went to highschool with the Mitch character...
The babe is on the move (horizontally and vertically), which had me pulling my hair out today. I can't leave him for a minute. And my five year old wants my constant attention as well. It was a rough Monday. But I am looking forward to the coming long Easter weekend.

    oh, i would of loved to see that! i loved that book. i know what you mean about a rough monday. he is such a cutie though, who can stay mad, right?

    I didn't know they made a play based on that book - must be interesting :)
    That is a complicated age, when they start moving around, put their hands in everything, get things out of their places...puff I'm tired just thinking about it.
    The babe would look a cutie dressed as the easter bunny :)

    No, definitely not mad, just dog tired!!

    Devil Mood;
    The Easter Bunny would be cute...nothing on hand for such a costume though, unfortunately.

    i'm a sucker for little round babies in sleepsuits! Cathy he is beautiful, i wish i could squeeze him. And i take back what i said about him not being fashion conscious. I think it's lovely how he coordinated hi outfit with your green background.

    How much would it cost me to fly you over here to be an auntie for a week????

  1. Blogger Heidi said:

    Cathy..It would cost you alot less to fly me over. ;)

    Hi Cathy, it is very frustrating when they get so mobile, but still need lots of assistance. Their little fingers get into everything, don't they !! But they get really frustrated, I found, as there is so much they want to do, but still so much they cannot !!
    Hope Tuesday is better.
    Take care, Meow

    You are so sweet :)

    Meow;
    12 years ago, but you definitely remember! :)

    I love pictures of the babe. My best friends little girl [1yr old] happened to find some glitter blue lip gloss somewhere in the house and was covered in it. Plus she has decided to be very vocal lately. I feel bad for her because she has a toddler and one on the way and her husband helps none.
    I hope tomorrow is less hectic for you and that you get to relax some.
    xoxo

    But this is when some of his best funny stories will come from.... "Do you remember the time when he stuck his hand in ..."

    It's going to scare the crap out of you when it actually happens, but he (and you) will survive it, and it will be the start of his legend.

    Think about the 5-yr old at taht age... aren't there stories of him getting into everything?

    And.. as I'm told by my friends with children, all to soo this stage will pass...

    Having an unsupportive husband would be miserable. Mine came home early because he knew I was having a bad day.
    I hope you are well. xo

    Blackcrag;
    The thing of it is that my older son was not really into things like the babe is; he never tried to climb the walls, for example (which the babe literally tried today). Good stories for his wedding twenty five years down the road, maybe, but I'd rather just say what a lovely little babe he was (and do without the legend :) Over-protective, tired mother speaking here...

    Yes! Do it!

    Michelle;
    It was nice. Everyone was in tears at the end. But the story is so great.

    Sarah;
    This is what I keep telling myself :) Thanks.
