A glimpse at my brain...it's not pretty.

Things that entered my mind today....

Since National Geographic has now revealed new evidence that Judas is in fact a good guy, I wonder what this will do for their image?...

Would five year olds notice if Winnie the Pooh party hats don't match the Madagascar napkins?...

What is the best, no really, the BEST chocolate frosting recipe? Because I tried the first one I googled a few weeks ago and it turned out like pudding. I made boiled fudge frosting tonight from a random cookbook from my shelf and it is divine. Want the recipe?

I get really passionate about things and have this narcissistic sense of being able to fix things that are wrong in the world. But when it comes to illness and disease; nada. But I can donate time and money to these people, in the hopes that someone with real capabilities will be able to do something.

Climate change is going to impact us all, sooner than we ever could have imagined. "Be worried, be very worried" says the recent issue of Time. But at this very moment, our new Conservative government has decided to cut Climate Change funding. Here we go....

I haven't been blogging much. Mr. C complained about it tonight; I think he learns more about me from reading this blog than from living with me :)

Good night and good weekend friends.

An interesting assortment of thoughts.. and yes, the kids will notice the hats and napkins... they'll pin down any inconsitentcies in their world.

I'm not saying they'll care, but they will notice.

Like Mr. C, my sister reads my blog to get to know me.

Hope you have fun at the party.

second, i agree with Blackcrag, they are going to notice but won't mind. In fact you can convince them you did it on purpose.

Have a nice weekend my friend xxxxxxxxxx

I don't think it's narcissistic; it shows you care which is so much these days.

I often imagine myself becomming the President and fixing the country's problems. I probably could, some of them are so petty and stupid.

    Have a happy weekend.

LOL at Judas Priest. I saw them in concert when I was 13 yrs old. My first concert ever, I told my Dad I was going to the library and didn't get back till 3 am. I should of told him- "The devil made me do it!" LOL

    Have a good weekend. ;)

My 5-year-olds wouldn't know.. I wouldn't mind the recipe either, even though we've already got a winner :)

My hubby's gotten as far as to not complain when I stay up late blogging, at least.. Don't think he reads it still, but maybe some day..

Cathy ... you have a lot on your mind, don't you !!
I don't think they will notice the non-matching hats and napkins ... but then, you never know !!
    Hope the party goes well.
Enjoy your weekend, take care, Meow

Cathy, you never cease to delight me. I think it's pretty darn "pretty" in your brain! I can't imagine the 5year olds will care, in fact, I think they'd prefer to have as many cartoon characters represented in their linens at one time as humanly possible!

I can't get my honey to go near my blog with a ten foot pole! Sometimes, this is a good thing. But sometimes I want his constructive criticism on a video or a somethingorother.

I'm waiting for it to be 80 degrees F in November. I'm thinking this will be around 2015. I'm nervous about it. I'm going to invest all extra monies in high-caliber sunscreen.

I made a birthday party with a little bit of every character, sponge bob napkins, lion king cups, blues clues plates, and dora the explorer party hats...the kids loved having the assortment..5 year olds don't care:)

a great frosting, is ganache and sooooo easy to do, you take 1 carton of heavy cream (ooh) and 1 bag of good chocolate chips, put the heavy cream in the microwave for maybe 1 minute, and pour in the chocolate chips and stir till it is all one mix, you stir for quite a while and let it cool slightly, pour the whole mix over the cake and let it go over the sides, spreading it where you need it, pop it in the fridge, and you have a perfectly smooth frosting, that looks very professional:)

    great blog!
