Memes and Babies...

I have seen this tag going
around and had not
been hit, but got it last night,
from Cherie,
so here’s my 4x4…

Four jobs you have had in your life

-shoe store sales clerk
-coffee shop waitress/clerk
-nanny
-dry cleaner cashier (lasted all of one shift)

Now I am an associate professor, really it’s true.

Four Movies you could watch over and over

This is hard for me; I never have time to watch movies and so when I do, I am not interested in watching ones I’ve seen before. The only exception I can think of is Christmastime. If I had to be hard pressed, I would choose:

-The Sound of Music
-Breakfast at Tiffany’s
-It's a Wonderful Life
-Miracle on 34th Street

Four places you have lived

-Sept-Isles, Quebec
-Waterloo, Ontario
-Yorkton, Saskatchewan
-Bielefeld, Germany

Four TV shows you love to watch

-Law and Order, SVU
-Oprah
-Friends (still)
-Larry King Live

Four places you have been on vacation

-Zermatt, Switzerland
-Fez, Morocco
-All over New England, USA
-London, England

Four websites you visit daily

-CBC News
-Environment Canada’s weather
-Arts and Letters Daily
-Globe & Mail

Four favourite Foods

-red licorice
-barbequed steak
-french onion soup
-potato skins with melted cheese

Four places you would rather be right now

-Hawaii
-Greece
-Australia
-Cuba

Four bloggers you are tagging

Any four who choose to do so….

And on another topic, one of my friends just had a baby girl last week. Please go and say hello and congratulations to Vani, who welcomes Isabelle Nancy, her third girl!

    Hey, I've been to Zermatt. So beautiful. I went on my Senior trip. Our room was in a quaint, little chalet. We had the most amazing view of the Mattahorn. One of my most favorite memories. Along the way, we stopped in lots of places. One of them being London--would love to go back to it all someday. :) Great list. :)

    Great list! You are truly an amazing woman.

    sjobs;
    Hope you have a good week, too.

    English Professor;
    Well hello there...

    Marel;
    Yes, Zermatt is an amazing place isn't it...and so environmentally friendly.

    mysterious in blue;
    hello to you...

    MomyBlogR;
    Thanks; so are you...

    Meow;

    You sold shoes too! No snow here today. It's still pretty mild, with a bit of rain. They just changed the weather report this morning that the potentially big storm will now miss us (out to sea), with maybe just some strong wind here. I hate all the hype and then the nothing...I could really use a snow day!!!

  1. Blogger Cathy said:

    Stephanie;
    Let's see if our hype turns out to be nothing. Again.

  1. Blogger Dr. Deb said:

    It's not quite lunchtime here, but I such a hankering for potato skins and melted cheese. Yum. I think I'll order some to go!

  1. Blogger Cathy said:

    Dr. Deb; I wish I could order something for lunch; but instead I'm making grilled cheese...

    Angel; I am in the mood to watch it right now myself, but I am hoome with two boys today, so no....

    My brother named his daughter Isabella--we call her Bella for short.
    I love watching "Friends", in fact I bought all ten seasons on DVD.
    Someone once told me to watch "Breakfast At Tiffany's". I think I just may go out and rent it.
