Playing with Fire

We had a really nice evening at my sisters'. The babe fell asleep and our husbands took our children to see the ten minutes of fireworks that my son had been worked up about for the past month. My sister and I played with the fire and gossiped about our in-laws. Good fun.

By the time we got home, it was very late and unfortunately we didn't sleep in much today, so we were a rather cranky bunch. We all have tomorrow off, so we are hoping for a nice day to venture out.

    The weather is crummy again, so we are trying hard to decide what we'll do on our day off.

    We have two firewroks events every summer. The Canada Day ones were not so great, so hopefully the next ones will be better. My son didn't care, though; he was excited by the event itself and the excitement of being up so late.

    I love to eat roasted marshmallows!
    And my camera hadn't been working so good, so I was lucky to have taken a few good photos. It's working fine now.
