In the dark of the night
Tuesday, May 09, 2006Yes I wish you were
By my side
i didn't know they were still going
DayByDay;
I know :)
Christopher;
O.K., don't make me feel old...but they have a new lead singer who is amazing; J.D. Fortune; and he's from Nova Scotia, no less!
I thought the frontman had died
cathy - Maybe that whole tv show was just over here :) Have fun!!!
I should be back out and about soon. I think I'm seeing Sigur Ros on Sunday at the big tent thing (whatever they call it these days) down by the water.
Chloe;
No cameras allowed, I don't think...maybe I'll try anyway.
Yes, he is beautiful, and Nova Scotian :)
Steve;
You and Chris need to catch up; the former lead singer died a number of years ago, but they have a new Canadian lead.
Blackcrag;
Plan to, thanks :)
Stephanie;
We had the tv show here as well and people went wild becuase the home town boy won; and they crowd tonight will go crazy because this is their first concert here; ever. And they were one of my favourite bands in the 80s....fun fun.
I also thought they were Australian so I am really out of date. Have a fun enjoyment time.
I didn't know INXS still played concerts :) It'll be good for reminiscing!! Enjoy yourself!
I am so jealous ... have fun, dance yourself silly !!
You know, they are an Aussie band, but I haven't even heard them since they took on JD !!
Do they still sound like INXS ... no-one could replace Michael Hutchence, so I imagine the sound is a bit different. Still good, though, I'm sure !!
Have a ball, Cathy.
Take care, Meow
Have a great time Cathy! My friend is also going this week..I think on Thurs..Can't wait to hear the details so I can fill her in.
I've seen them, they are fantastic, sound even better now they have JD Fortune...he's fantastic, better than revolting Michael,easier on the eye and he's not a screamer like Hutchence. All in all brilliant show :o)
Hello Friends;
Just to clarify...INXS is still an Aussie band, but they have a new lead singer who is Canadian. J.D. Fortune. The concert was sold out; actually broke a Canadian record for the fasting sold out concert, I believe; 9000 people all dancing and singing to our newest Rock Star. It was a grand party. I wasn't able to bring my camera, but I will post about it later tonight.
