    Great quote!!!
One of my ex-girlfriends said she didn't like flowers as a gift because pulling them from the ground and out of their realm made them ugly. Keeping them in the garden made them beautiful.

can you send me that photo? I would like to do a painting of it sometime.

I think I know what she means but speaking in concret terms I think there are better things in flowers than the perfume. Which, in abstract terms, means that what's best in things depends on the observant - we shouldn't judge everything and decide what's good or bad, it depends.
    God, I'm philosophical today! :P

I am back and I've had enough flowers there, to make me sneeze for a year. How about some fumes for a change?

Over my head at the moment philosophical...

Thank You; the poor crocuses are now past their prime and don't look as pretty. At least I have the photo.

Yes, well...busy, but well; Mr. C's arm is slowing healing...

Hello Dear Friend; I've missed you. I look forward to your photos.
Did you have allergies on your trip?

SO glad :) and I like your new photo!

    Scrappy Rose;
Crocuses and daffodils are about all we have around here so far...

You are being very domestic lately! It's great...

My day calendar has a quote every five days or so; sometimes they are good, sometimes not...

Did Rob watch Survivor last night? Sooo good!

I am glad you thought so! I believe a lot of what was said in that post.

He loved Survivor last night. Usually I do not watch it but when I caught a glimpse of him watching it was fun to see how excited he gets over the show.

I love springtime and flower...if only they didn't make me so sneezy all the time. I've loved all the photos :)

When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other.

  1. Blogger Cathy said:

I don't think I've missed a single episode; I love watching Survisor and the Amazing Race.

They make me sneezy as well; I've just popped an allergy pill this morning, actually.

I am hope with both boys; all is as well as can be expected!

Another great quote! Is the one a Jase original?

My partner never buys me flowers, because he'd rather give me a plant, which is still alive and growing.

I tell him, I don't mind getting dead things, but no luck yet. :)

    i missed you too.
no real allergies, just withdrawals. I missed the city.

Flowers in photos are sometimes better than flowers in real life, even without the smell. My eyes, my poor itchy eyes!

Some days I wish I lived in Arizona.
