Thinking. Shut up Brain.

Tuesday, January 10, 2006

There's been far too much on my mind lately. I want it empty. No decisions. No worries. Just nothing. But then I wouldn't be living, would I? So we may be going on a beach vacation. Even though we aren't really the beach vacation types. Who knows. I've had a hard day. Tomorrow. What will you bring?
More office. Staring at my surroundings. Wishing I weren't here. But do I?

Thank you for the care package, Chloe. It couldn't have come on a better day. I bathed in Ella tonight. By candlelight.

Cathy -I Know the feeling when the brain doesn't doesn't quiet down.

Guess there's a mind funk going around. I'm noticing more and more people that aren't starting this week off very well.

Hope it gets better for ya!

Vacation planning is always so exciting, and I'm kinda like you, craving a beach vacation but MORE than just a mere beach vacation. Mexico or the Caribbean is where I usually head, but this year I'm planning on BRAZIL. I am determined to make it HAPPEN!

Oh I hate to hear that this is going around. I'll be over it tomorrow. I hope.

    Thanks for stopping by.
Brazil sounds great. I would consider it if this were a trip without children.

Care packages are a great thing. I just sent one to my best friend, a crock pot, dozens of recipes, and some sour patch kids. Random to most, but she is pregnant. The crock pot and recipes are to make cooking easier especially once she gets bigger, and the sour patch kids are a craving that she can't find in her teeny tiny town.

I hope your night is well, and I hope you get an empty brain day.

What a great care paskage you sent to your friend. What a sweetie you are.
I will second the motion for the empty brain day.

    Vacation? What's that?

I think a beach vacation will cure just about anything! Let the wind blow all those worries away.

A warm beach, or a cold beach?

    Vacation! Vacation!
    Go by all means.
Aren't brains awful for never shutting up? It would be great if there was a special brain software, to change our thoughts completely for a couple of hours. Insert disk. Run program. Think about how to dance the cha-cha.

I hope you had one as well; no one deserves one more than you do.

    Ella, what a beautiful name...

Well, you travel the world at least.

The cold beach is out our back door. This kind would certainly be cheaper. We are thinking about Bermuda perhaps....

Financial considerations with the vacation. We are still pondering. You will certainly be the first to know if we decide to.

And where can I purchase a copy of that software?

Care packages from friends always come at the right time. That's why they are called "care" packages.

You need a nice trip to the Green Mountains to perk you up, just a ferry ride and a nice country drive away. There's a bed and breakfast with your name on it. ^_^

    Have you received any lately?

Sounds wonderful; do they allow children?

I completely feel your pain. I almost wish there were a shutoff switch.
Will you let us know when you do about the presentation?

Normally the yoga helps me clear my head...but lately my brain won't shut up either. I'm having an office moment right now, in fact. :( A beach vacation sounds heavenly.

I don't know about an empty mind ... that would mean an empty life !! A beach vacation sounds great ... why not come to the land of Oz. We have great beaches !!
    Hope tomorrow goes better.
    Take care,

I am going to Quebec next week to give the presentation and I will be talking about it for sure! I e-mailed it to the head of marketing and I got an e-mail back today saying they really liked it. Phew.

I need to take up yoga.

Unfortunately not what my pocket book needs. So, we'll see.
    Thanks :)

I would have to re-mortgage my house to pay for airfare to Aussie land, unfortunately!

    I so vote for vacation!!!

You know I feel the same way lately. Every time I sit down my mind is racing and I have to get up and do something to feel constructive. It is really wearing me down. I think it is something in the air.

Did I mention a vacation would be a good thing.

    Take care. Connie

Maybe it's the New Year and we all have too many expectations, mixed with the let down from just getting over the holidays?

    We'll get through...
