    Oh no!

    Not the tree!

    It's too early!

    well, my tree is staying until the 7th of January. It's a custom to store them away -or throw them away- on that day. But i am going to keep some of the fairy lights.
    Enjoy skating and mum's dinner (i hope everything goes okay, mothers' dinners are dangerous territory). xx

    THAT is exactly what my floor looked like, lol! I am so happy to have the dead forest now outside.

    Enjoy skating and you dinner at your Moms. It's always a treat to not have the cook.

    Be Good!

    I wish I could take mine down! Not because it's really time, yet, but because it is so very, very dead and it's going to get ugly in here. Sanitation won't pick up trees until the 4th!

    It's always so sad to me to see all the trees lining the curb. They keep popping up till the end of the month. Then it's always funny to see one in like March.

    hehehehehehe, plenty of material after your visit, be strong!

    happy new year cathy! i just put mine down today too- normally i wait a little longer, but there is so much clutter that it had to be done. may this year bring you much happiness. :)

    Eric;
    We had to get rid of it, it was officially dead and shedding everywhere, as you can see!

    Chloe;
    Mr.C and I are anxious for regular routine life to get back in order again. The squirrels and birds can enjoy the tree now. Tonights' mothers dinner was amazingly calm, as you will soon see.

    MomyBlogR;
    It was a good day.

    MissB;
    Now that we live in the wilderness, we can simply return our tree to the earth. I remember the trees at the curb and the random tree turning up in March...funny.

    Michelle;
    Actually, surprisingly little material tonight. Content sigh.

    Vani;
    Same to you.

    Will;
    Yeah, you got it! :)

    My tree normally stays until the 7th of August, its kind of a battle of wills with the cleaner, she To see who will remove it. By February there is normally just a brown stick in a pot.

    Happy new year!

    I wish I could persuade my hubby to throw out the treeS (sic!) but he so loves Christmas... I guess they're staying until ALL the needles have come off ;)
