Wishful Thinking

Friday, December 30, 2005

Well, that would be nice, wouldn't it. What will 2006 bring us all? I do not like New Year's Resolutions, because when they go unfulfilled, I feel badly. I prefer New Year's Wishes, and then when they come true we can act happy and surprised. 2005 was a great year for me and will be hard to top. I hope and wish that my family will remain happy, safe and healthy. A bonus would be that I am able to juggle it all (work, home etc.) and feel satisfied with the job I've done. What is your New Year's wish?

Cathy -World peace would be a good start. But we all know that'll never happen. So I'll pick something more realistic. I wish for a new career that pays me what I'm worth.

You have a great new year friend.

I really only have two wishes right now; a job in my carreer field, and sanity at home (wherever home turns out to be). Is that so much to ask?

O, and more blog awards, I like getting blog awards.

Here's to a career worthy of you in the New Year!
You have a great New Year, too, friend.

How many times a day does your girlfriend have to knock you on the side of the head?;)

Here's to a job worthy of you and a great living space. And blogawards (?) I really don't know anything about these, but I hope you get some!

A new laptop!! Yeah! And more time with friends and family sounds perfect. I am taking up watercolour painting, so I hope to be posting my new creativity.

Less clutter in 2006! Thanks for the well wishes.

I like the way you think, mate.

I guess you haven't had a chance to think with the in-laws visiting!;)

Creedit cards paid, degree completed, and great job on the way in 2006; wonderful wishes.

Now this we can make happen; grocery store tomorrow and it's done!:)

It's been awhile! I thought I had lost you, actually. I will drop by your blog soon. My camera was a gift from my husband for Christmas. It is a Canon PowerShot S2 IS.

I hope your wish comes true.

Happiness for my parents. They are elderly and not well yet I want them to appreciate the time they have left together in their home. They have children who love them very much and somehow it just doesn't seem to be enough.

Yes...most of all happiness for mom and dad.

World peace. Health and happiness for those I love (family and friends alike). Another year of personal progress like the one I've just had. A return of the Big Love, or at least a boy I like who likes me back :)

    Happiness all around.

Oh, I know the food the food. I just finished eating two sugar cookies and chips and dip, and now I'm going to bed with all that crap in my stomach. Ugh....

Nice of you to wish this for your parents. My husband's parents are unhappy people, too, who don't need to be. I feel they are beyond hope, though.

World Peace would be great, wouldn't it! Not with Bush around, unfortunately. Seriously, though, if we all say that's too big a wish, it certainly will not happen. Why don't we all just say enough, and lets get on with it. A bit naive? I don't think so. In my life, I have alway followed my heart, my instincts and my passions, and they have taken me far. Ask not what your country can do,.....etc etc....
