Rainy Days and Babies

Thursday, November 10, 2005

Always make me smile.
And today I have both.

No snow, although we are quite prepared now, as you can see. Going to Midnight Madness tonight. How can something so crazy and chaotic make me so happy; I am giddy at the thought. Does everyone know what this is? Shopping until midnight.

I am looking forward to bundling the babe up in his suit and taking him out in the sled. Unfortunately the novelty of the snow wears off very quickly.

Philemon, le petit ourson, voudrait bien etre un renne comme son ami Eugen.

    HNT is Half Nekkid Thursday. Lots of bloggers do it and I thought I'd give it a shot. You have to take a picture of a boby part and it must me of someone your know. Hubby, kids, self, friend, etc. It can be as clear or dirty as you like. Mine will be PG or PG13, always. Post it with or without explaination.

    Go see Rant -n Ravin, she does it too.

    Have a great day.

    Just offering a comment to prove that people read or at least skim through the HNT comments. Happy HNT from another Canadian!

    (And yeah, bundling up the Baby to go through the snow is an absolute joy)

    Yes, I read every comment that I get! Which makes for long weekends to get through them all! If you need a full description of HNT, come back to mine and click on the blue HNT button. It'll take you to the guidelines.

    We're a pretty friendly community, if I do say so myself! Hope you'll come check out the rest of the half-nekkid people! And Vani--pregnant women are simply gorgeous, and more than welcome to join in on the fun!

    Shopping till midnight! hey, Canada is my favourite country now.
    Did you enjoy yourself? and wht did you get?
    xx

    I totally hear you on how you describe yourself in your profile! I live in Maine so I constantly am asked if I eat lobster everyday, and if I have moose in my backyard (actually, there is a moose grave in my backyard, but that's a story for a different day). But I can understand why you have to put these things in a profile.

    By the way, thanks for the comment on my blog.

    Cathy...5pm I saw it!!!!! That wet, white, slippery, cold, damp,flakes of snow! It was only for 10 mins...Just to say " Hey I'm baaaaaaaack"..ugh...lol

    I've never heard of midnight madness..Have fun...

    Hmm , I could do plenty of damage if I was in an American Mall...Canadian Malls, not as exciting. ;)

    Shopping till mindight? YES!!! That's awesome! Also awesome is that snowsuit. Man, that's cute. Does that come in an adult size 6?

  1. Blogger Scott & Julia said:

    No snow here either, although they're threating us with it every day! We just bought snow suits and booties for our kiddies too: our two Beagles :) Happy HNT!

    We haven't had snow yet, but when it comes, there's not a snowsuit to be had in all of Canada (well, not nice ones, anyway). Funny that there has been a mix of people who know what Midnight Madness is and some who don't and some from the U.S. do while some from Canada don't; hmmm, I think I'll have to do an informal poll about this.

    Mamakbear;
    Thanks:) and happy nekkid to you:)

    Osbasso;
    Wow, thanks for coming by; after my cheeky comment on yours, I expected a go to h#@$ from you:) And thanks for all the info. Your blog is very cool.

    Chloe;
    Darling, where have you been today? I guess I will have to come over and see tomorrow. (going to bed as soon as I finish this). Midnight Madness kicks off the official Christmas shopping season; purely commercial, but there's no tax on that one night and it is pure glorious shopping without time limits. I wandered through every store not looking at my watch once. I primarily got Christmas gifts for Mr. C and the two boys, but I also got a pair of winter boots for myself and a couple of cute outfits for the babe (as if he wasn't snazzy enough already, but you can't pass up a good bargain). Oh and cinnamon rolls from a wonderful bakery for breakfast tomorrow (which is a day off in Nova Scotia).

    Katrina;
    Hello!! You mean you don't eat lobster every day in Maine??? And the tale of the moose simply must be told!

    Heidi; bon homme (sp???) is on his way...good luck good luck good luck in the contest; I am expecting to see your smiling face on Rosie's blog next week.

    MissB;
    Shopping til midnight; yes it is so great...you don't have this in NY??? Size 6, girl, you make me jealous.

    Scott & Julia;
    Dogs in booties in bad weather make me smile. wow, you nekkid people sure are friendly:)
    MomyBlogR....you have opened a can of worms, or something, my friend.

    If only we could swap the weather! It's so strange thinking that one side of the world is snowing and the otherside is melting away in 33C heat!
    Happy Shopping!
