So I didn't find a phobia for emptying garbage cans, or a phobia for eating food prepared by other people, but I did stumble across these ones:

Doxophobia- Fear of expressing opinions or of receiving praise.
My mother has this one, except when it comes to me, and she has no problem expressing her opinions then.

Lilapsophobia- Fear of tornadoes and hurricanes.
At least half of the U.S. has this one by now.

Macrophobia- Fear of long waits.
Um, by another name, wouldn't you just call this impatience???!!!

Mageirocophobia- Fear of cooking.
Starting tomorrow, I am telling my husband I have this....

Arachibutyrophobia: Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth.
Good grief, now I think I've heard it all !

    I have a spider phobia, also known as Arachnophobia.

    Not that is is funny to make light of these, but my favorite on the list is to have a phobia of phobias also known as Phobophobia.

    I have experienced a frea of crowds on a couple of occasion, but it was more like a panic attack, I think, rather than a real phobia.

    I actually looked up fear of ladders and it falls under the same name as a fear of heights. I came across an interesting site describing the difference between a fear and a phobia; I guess we all have fears, but at what point would we call these phobias...
    fear of malls; most men probably have this one, or maybe it's a combination of a fear of crowds, fear of lines, fear of waiting and a fear of spending money...:)have a great weekend.
