I could write about life in my house as of late, but I fear it would be dominated of tales of living with a "terrible two". I have several months of this left: when he blows out the candles on his third birthday cake, the tantrums and craziness better evaporate into the air with the wafts of smoke from his three little candles. Or else.

But rather than dwell on that, I thought I would quiz you: Both or neither of the following is completely true: what do you think?

1. A research project I completed as an undergraduate student was used by professional treasure hunters to search for buried treasure, and

2. I played University football in grad school (of the North American variety).

So are you willing to gamble: do you think these things are correct or am I just being silly (the low air pressure here right now might have something to do with it...)

    I would have to go for "both of the above". The ability of people to reuse data for other ends never fails to amaze me, and you look fit and lithe and are certainly determined (which you seem to have passed on to your 2 year old). So both are highly plausible.
