Patent Pending
(Oldest Son's Design)
I can take no credit for this moment of ingenuity.
Let's hope our children will save the world, for I don't think we're going to.
I could write that I haven't been around much because I have been so busy working, but that wouldn't be the truth. I have been busy thinking about working, but not actually doing much of it. Every now and then (well, ok, often), I get into a creative mood and my mind rebels against mindless work. So this past week I have been spending a lot of time in book shops and organizing my photos and creating slide shows and going through crafty things and reading books. And drinking lots of coffee. And trying out new recipes. And the list goes on and on. I have also been working in between, but when I try to add up the sum of my accomplishments from the past week, there isn't much to show for it. I refuse to feel guilty, however. For why should there be guilt in pleasure. Right?

Absolutely, we delay pleasure for too long, that's not healthy.
I love all of the things that you've been doing :) And I know that feeling of wanting to do everything else apart from boring work and having fun doing it.
Oh, I miss my Lego :)

Never feel guilty for doing fun things that make you happy. We humans spend far too much time doing things we have to do instead of what we want to do. When I was younger I worked 16 hour days, did it get me anywhere fast, nope, did it make me sick? Yup, and I'm no further ahead really...hugs...ciao

Just want to say I love your "About Me". I feel inspired to change mine into something similar. Being Swedish-born, I know a thing or two about people's ignorance and prejudice. So the blogosphere might actually help educate people and create more understanding and acceptance. Oh, sounded a bit highbrow, didn't it?

It's wonderful that you have had the time to do some fun stuff. Life's too short. We work to live, not live to work !! Enjoy the time you spend with your littlies ... they grow up all too fast.
    Take care, hugs, Meow

sounds like you've been having a great time and guilt shouldn't be a part of it! Also when you're doing what seems like not very much its amazing what inspiration can leap out at you unexpectedly.
