Making Sense from Nonsense...

Friday, May 18, 2007

Of all the cuddly creatures the babe has in his crib, this is what he held on to dearly as I put him to bed last night. I mean, who wouldn't want to sleep with an ogre that belches, right?

The babe is very quirky, actually. For example, we have two cats and their names are Oopsie and Daisy. The babe has no issues with Oopsie but will NOT use the name Daisy. He insists on calling her Other Oopsie. This is my cat Oopsie and my Other Cat Oopsie. Reminds me of Newhart....

Happy "Freakend" Folks!
(Thanks to Christopher for the wonderful new word in my vocabulary)

That's so sweet! We had something similar- When our oldest was just a little guy he had a favourite stuffed dog that he named Gretchen after my parents' dachshund. All other toy dogs were then called "'nother Gretchen".

I'm looking forward to the third Shrek movie. :-)

I thought most women slept with ogres who belched? At least, that's what SWMBO tells me.

This is pretty funny. Maybe he thinks 'cat' and 'Oopsie' are two words for the same thing.

I haven't seen Shrek the Third, and I'm not sure I want to. I was disappointed with Shrek II. Too much of a rehash of Shrek, with more the same gags, more of the 80s music dance numbers, without adding anything new or original to it.

I'm pleased that i've added something to your life. That makes me smile on a day that's dragging waaay too slowly.
