It's cold. Freeze your digits off in seconds cold. -30 degrees C with wild chill kind of cold. I want to hibernate with my family for a few weeks. That's all I ask for; just a couple of weeks. I like the cold, though really. Much better than having abnormally weird warm weather, the harbinger of things we might expect to come. And will. So for now, I'll take the cold.

The Atlantic Ocean is warmer than the land and air, and so it is steaming...really.

I am hoping for a relaxing and uneventful weekend.

What are you hoping for?

I guess if I lived in Canada I'd be hoping for cold :) No point hoping for anything different, right?
It's cold over here too, which means 2ÂșC at night (go on, laugh at me!) and there's no snow, it's sunny, but it's still very cold. lol
I'll be watching a film this afternoon, I'll be hoping for no interruptions :)

    The same as you, relaxing!!

It's 35 degrees where I live (Tennessee) and I'm cold! I'd never make it in Canada! :-) The ocean looks so beautiful! I'm going backpacking this weekend so I'm hoping for a lovely time hiking in the woods next to a gorgeous river.

We're at -22 with the wind chill and I thought that was bad...you are definately colder, stay warm and have a lovely weekend..ciao

Black ice and minus degrees here. I'm wishing for a nice cozy fire and a warm cup of cocoa or tea. George Clooney wouldn't be a bad addition!

    The ocean is steaming? Surreal.

This is the time of year I wouldn't want to live where you do, what with that usually refreshing sea breeze turning into an icy death blow. Hope you have good insulation!

this weekend - the company of friends and family. I love the steaming sea, but I'm glad I can experience it through your photos.

it's already abnormally hot here. We have 17 C and it's January. We've never had these temperatures at this time of year. The animals can't hibernate. People think that Greece is always warm but it didn't use to be that warm in winter.
I wish for normal sleep and fun.
    Kisses xxxxxxx

It would be nice to actually be at home with family t. That is if they could just behave themselves for a while.

That's a stunning photo of the ocean. I can't imagine it being minus 30 degrees C ... that is way too cold for me !! We had plus 30C heat today !! Heading towards 38C by the weekend !!
    Have a great week.
    Take care, Meow

I'm discovering the joys of longjohns. I nearly froze off some vital parts yesterday.

These weather swings worry me. We get warmer temperatures, warmer than any I remember as a kid, yet then we have things like the ice storms in recent years, as if the proper weather pattern tries to visciously reassert itself, and pack in all the weather we hadn't received in one go.
