My very kind and considerate friend, Heidi
sent me a package from the recent United Nations Conference on Climate Change, held in Montreal. Among the items were a nice canvas bag, hat and scarf, pin and many useful work related items. Thank You!
I have known for months now just how important this blog is to me and how important my friendships are. That was even more apparent this morning, when my blog had disappeared from the internet. Poof. Gone. I freaked out. Would you have done the same? I won't ask you if you think I'm crazy, because frankly, it doesn't matter. If this is crazy, then that's just fine with me :)

    Those are some awesome prizes, I have a black ski cap but it's not that cool. The only trick is does is spring off my head, bong! There it goes again! Good thing I'm not a bank robber this cap would totally foil the heist!

    I would have reacted the same way..My computer is acting strange these days...I'm starting to write down everyones blog addresses incase my comp crashes. Just a bad computer vibe I'm getting.

    I have made lots of friends over blogs and various other things. Most of the time they are there for me more than my everyday friends. and exchanging gifts is always awesome.

    Why is it that we are able to be more open in this way of communcation that with some of our friends we interact with face to face? It is a shame that we are all there for one another more than the people we see and talk to in person. But we are and it is such a great thing.

    Blogger freaks me out when it does that. I HIGHLY recommend ecto blog software. You can write and post directly from the program which looks and feels very word processor-ish, or if you prefer to use Blogger's post editor, you can use the ecto to back-up all your posts. Heaven forbid they disappear, they can be reposted if you wish. It's cheap...I think like $20.

    When I typed in the URL or tried to access my blog in any way, the screen just showed up in white and it said "Done" in the lower left corner. At least three of my blogger friends saw the same thing when they came over. It was annoying and worrisome. But now that's over! Phew.

    I'm not a hat person, although I take great pleasure in finding hats for HH and he won't go out without at hat... Two days ago however it was soooo cold here in Cologne that I actually pulled my wool knit cap out from the bottom of HH's stroller - and somehow a family of moths must have settled down there because my old beanie was full of holes! Have fun with your hat thing ... it's a harmless pleasure that actually does some good!
