After Tropical Storm Noel. The large tree in the foreground is no more. This is the last photo of her standing(yes, she was a she). No less than 24 hours afterwards, the neighbour gleefully set the chainsaw to her trunk and up she went in a blaze of thick smoke. Farewell tree that blocked the better ocean view.
Yes, back from Africa, but you already know that. This time I mean that I am back to blogland because work is finally easing off and I am sliding into my prolonged Christmas break. Which means that I can finally focus on fun things like crafting and sewing and baking, creating artwork with the boys and shamelessly watching television with a bowl of chips and dip.
Before I slip into my stretchy pants, I still have some further work to sort out, so I won't delay too long. I will still be talking about my trip, although after several presentations and slideshows for colleagues and friends, I am sick of hearing myself talk about it, quite frankly. So tell me, what is on your mind this fine morning? I haven't chatted with you in ages and I want to know what is going on. Or would you like me to tell you what is annoying me today?
