No Snow Day

fb;
That means that my post was uninspiring,(hastily slapped up here before I was out of my mind with children) but thanks for saying hello!
So tell me what you are up to today, and why you haven't put up a new post for so long?
what a great location you must live in to have such a view! i had the same thing happen to me yesterday, took me about 30 min just to get us dressed, a few min outside and then another hour to get UNDRESSED and clean up the snow...lol
Not enough snow to keep us from work today :( The main roads are already pretty clear.
My photos from later in the storm did not come out very well, so I've only blogged the ones from the lull in the snow halfway through. Just picture it with another couple of inches of snow, and no bare roads by the end of the day.
Personally, I'm trying to avoid the whole Valentine's day thing, but much love to everyone who's celebrating :)
I was wondering if it would swing by you. Alas, now it's thrilling snowy power will be lost to distant seas and oil tankers.
Vani;
Two hours of work for a few minutes of joy :)
Stephanie;
Valentine's Day is totally over-rated. Really, it is. I have fun in the crafty things and the baking, but otherwise I don't get the point.
Eric;
Yes, it's out to oblivion now...and so we await the next one...
Why isn't there a fire going in the fireplace? Sorry no snow day, and I'm glad your son reminded us that it is Valentines Day, I completely blocked it out! LOL!
SkyeBlue;
It's not a wood fireplace, but a propane one and it leaves a smell...how to solve this problem????
Cute decortations. What does the giant "X" represent? Or does your son have a psychic understanding of my true feelings about Valentine's Day?
Fresh sno is my veyr, veyr ,very most favorite weather condition. We just got a bunch and even though it ties the city in knots I kust love it.
re: template changes.
It's neat, isn't it? Not too over the top. Nothing spinning or flaming or sparkling. I feel like Ginger's prices are very reasonable, considering that each template she makes is custom-made and not just lying around someplace. She charges $65US and seemed willing to tweak it until it was just right no matter how long that took. Since she's got a keen sense of design and she listens well, that only took about 8 days, six emails and four tweaks. Seriously, just four little changes from her first try. Changed the font, changed a color, added more stars and that was pretty much it. Paid by Paypal, she loaded it for me links and all and--poof!-- new blog. There's a link in my second to last post and then she also has a link over in my sidebar toward the bottom. I highly recommend her.
Cathy - Hmmm, I think we got all the snow that missed you!
An Alberta clipper just tagged us on the East Coast. Philly got a foot of snow. Thanks Canada! ;)
Peace & Hugs,
- Neo
Hi Cathy -
Are there a lot of those Perks coffee places you'd posted about a while back, or is there just the one?
I miss mountians. I'm beginning to miss the coast and ocean as well. That's a great picture, Cathy.
O, and neo, Alberta's is just sharing the love. We may have sent you the snow but we're keeping Thursdays -27C (-17F)temperatures to ourselves.
Romani;
We love it here' we are here for life :)
MissB;
The X is the x in xoxoxo; there is an o just below it :)
Thanks for the blog info...it will have to wait for me.
Gurgo;
Ich hab kuchen gemacht; wann kommt's Du?...
Heidi;
We make a deal about it for the kids, but not each other really; it is over-rated...
Neo;
Why must Americans blame bad weather on Canadians? :)
Stephanie;
There used to be just the one but now there are about four, I think. It is a Halifax coffee shop, though...not a Canada wide thing like Tim Horton's. Why do you ask?
Dr.Deb;
So you must have had a snow day!
Blackcrag;
We always wish for the things we don't have; I would love the mountains, but then would miss the ocean...-27! brrrrrr....
I just love you decorations. Would never have thought to decorate for Valentines Day. It's just gorgeous. Have a great day, Meow
Meow;
I wouldn't have either...it was my son's idea and he is so into crafts and decorating the house for any occasion!
Gurgo;

I used to do exactly the same as your son whenplaying in the snow but it was always a good 15minutes and therefore worth it! Mind you I dont think we get the same conditions you do!
