I'm not a lumberjack or a fur trader. I don't live in an igloo, eat blubber or own a dogsled. I don't know Jimmy Suzie or Sally from Canada, Although I'm certain they're very nice. I have a prime minister, not a president, I speak English and French, not American. And I pronounce it 'about' not 'a-boot.' I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack. I believe in peacekeeping, not policing; Diversity, not assimilation. And that the beaver is a proud and noble animal. A tuque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch. And it's pronounced zed. OK? Not zee. Zed. Canada is the second-largest land mass, the first nation of women's hockey and the best part of North America. My name is Cathy and I am Canadian.

Tim; I read this from your blog:
"i want another child, yet i'm scared that round two might not be as amazing as the first go around. we have the worlds easiest kid. the stories of being up all night, going to the dr., tantrums... are not my world."
This is exactly how I felt about having another child. My world was perfect with one so why mess with a good thing. I also have an easy first child and worried about the same things. Well, as fate has turned it, I now have a second child; my baby is three months old and I already feel like I can't imagine the world without two. Our life expands, not contracts.
Chances are that your first is "easy" because you are a great parent. You should share your love with another.
